"My heart is overflowing with a good theme;" Psalm 45:1a

My Articles/Writings

The following article titled "The Blood" was actually something that had been emailed to me. Each time I read it I feel as though it continues to speak something to my heart.

Even though this article isn't actually me, it could still be me. Oh in so many ways. Like her, I was a sinner. I have done sinful things. I am still a sinner. BUT, when I confessed, when I am confessing, AND believing, the blood of my Savior covers me and I am washed clean by His precious blood.

And when the enemy of my soul would try to rob me of the joy of knowing I am saved, sanctified and justified, made righteous because of the blood of Jesus, I remember what Jesus has done for me.

When I do mess up and sin, and it doesn't matter how big or little the sin, I go to Jesus and confess my sin, and just like it says in the Bible,

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I John 1:9

Knowing that if I sin and confess it and be cleansed from sin doesn't give me license to continue to sin, but it does give me assurance that when I do sin (because I am human and in need of my Savior), my Savior's blood will cleanse me and bring me back into right standing before my Lord.

So for those of you who are reading this today, who already know our Lord Jesus and have become His bondslave, I pray this little article will minister to you as it has me. And if the enemy of our souls has battered you with lies about your salvation, may you rest in the peace of knowing that the blood of Jesus, our Precious Lamb, was and is and always will be enough to cleanse you from all unrighteousness when you confess your sins.

And for those of you who are reading this today, who don't know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but are feeling beat down, crushed, and just about at the end of your rope without any hope.... There is hope. There is nothing that you have done in your lifetime that cannot be forgiven. NOTHING! Did you read that?
N O T H I N G! ! !

Read this with me..... And if there happens to be a bible near you, grab it and read these verses with me. In fact, grab a pencil or pen or highlighter and underline these verses.....

Romans 3:10, 23 "As it is written: "There is none righteous, no not one;... Their throat is as an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced deceit.
Romans 5:12 "Therefore just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-"
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 5:8 "For God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 10:9-13 (9)"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
(10)For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(11)For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."
(12)For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
(13)For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.""

That, my dear reader, is the "gospel message." Now the easy part is to say out loud that you confess you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died for you and was raised from the dead, so you would be saved, and you want Him to be Lord over your life.

If you have just asked Jesus to be your Lord, then please send me an email. I would like to send you some links to Christian websites, and perhaps direct you to a church. I would also like to send you a suggested reading list for the Bible. A lot of new believers don't usually know where to begin reading and get discouraged. So please send me an email and I will be happy to point you in the right direction.

And if you would like (this is the "hard" part), which I also encourage, please leave a comment on this page stating you just asked Jesus to be your Lord. We are to publicly confess that Jesus is our Lord.

In Matthew 10:33, Jesus is speaking and He says, "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." And in Mark 8:38 "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."

So let me encourage you to leave a comment saying that you are now a Christian. And don't be ashamed before your friends and family. Christ now resides in you. You are now a child of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Again, email me so I can send you some verses and a little direction.

May the Good Lord Jesus bless all of you this day. May His face shine upon you and give you peace. And may you rest in His arms knowing He is your Lord and Savior, today, tomorrow and for all eternity and that His precious blood is more than enough! Amen!

THE BLOOD

One night in a
church service a young woman felt the tug of God at her heart.

She responded to God's call and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

The young woman had a very rough past, involving alcohol, drugs, and prostitution.

But, the change in her was evident. As time went on she became a faithful member of the church.

She eventually became involved in the ministry, teaching young children.

It was not very long until this faithful young woman had caught the eye and heart of the pastor's son.

The relationship grew and they began to make wedding plans.

This is when the problems began.

You see, about one half of the church did not think that a woman with a past such as hers was suitable for a pastor's son.

The church began to argue and fight about the matter.

So they decided to have a meeting.

As the people made their arguments and tensions increased, the meeting was getting completely out of hand.

The young woman became very upset about all the things being brought up about her past.

As she began to cry the pastor's son stood to speak.

He could not bear the pain it was causing his wife to be.

He began to speak and his statement was this:

"My fiancee's past is not what is on trial here.

What you are questioning is the ability of the
blood of Jesus to wash away sin.

Today you have put the
blood of Jesus on trial.

So, does it wash away sin or not?"

The whole church began to weep as they realized that they had been slandering the blood of the
Lord Jesus Christ.

Too often, even as Christians, we bring up the past and use it as a weapon against our brothers and sisters.
Forgiveness is a very foundational part of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

If the
blood of Jesus does not cleanse the other person
completely then it cannot cleanse us completely.

If that is the case, then we are all in a lot of trouble.

What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus! End of case!!!!

"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

Psalm 55:23

This prayer is powerful and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive.

There is no cost but a lot of rewards, let's continue to pray for one another.

Here is the prayer:

"Father, I ask you to bless my friends, relatives and internet buddies reading this right now.

Show them a new revelation of your love and power.
Holy Spirit, I ask you to minister to their spirit at this very moment.

Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy.

Where there is self doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace.

In Jesus' precious name.

Amen

To Err The Heir

The air I breathe on my are is e'er sweet.
Ere you think different and make an err
Always remember you are the heir.

You can sweeten the ante by kissing your auntie.
But you will never find the cache that is full of cash.
Nor will you find the brooch, should the subject you
decide to broach.

Though you are more bolder than your brother,
and the flu flew right past you. You will never find the
inheritance under the boulder or in the flue.
